Christmas Parade 2021
Ever wished you could be in a parade? Well, this is your chance. Joyce Herchberger and Shaughn Jarvis are once again holding a Christmas Parade We encourage you to join them on Tuesday, December 21st at 3:00pm for the second annual Christmas parade. I
It’s simple–just decorate your car, don your favorite festive gear (reindeer ears welcome), and follow the brand new fire truck through the community bringing cheer to everyone. (yes, you can make a little noise too!) It’s totally fun! Meet at the Marina at 2:45 PM on December 21st and line up behind fire truck in the launch parking lot. Stay for a beverage afterwards.
Wait, there’s two more fun things to tell you about… It’s the Festival of Lights contest that will award 3 families with Boston Harbor Marina gift certificates for their best in class holiday decorations. The homes we’re voting on are only in Boston Harbor proper, but everyone can cast their votes. Voting forms will be at the Marina cash counter by December 15th. The categories are:
- Home with most spectacular decoration – $50.
- Home with best landscape decoration – $50.
- Home with best nativity or demonstration of Christmas origination decoration – $50
Come on, let’s really do it up this year and make this Christmas one to remember here in Boston Harbor.
And if you have little kiddies around, there’s the Candy Cane Guessing Game starting by December 15th and ending December 29th. The Candy Can jar and entry forms are located at the Marina. Best guesser wins a Boston Harbor Marina gift certificate for $25, second is $15 and third is $10. Now that’s a lot of free ice cream cones!
